This was announced by Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal, referring to the agreement signed on this matter with his British counterpart John Healy.
«To begin with, it is planned to manufacture the first thousand drones — all of them will be delivered to Ukraine,» Shmyhal noted.
He also promised to scale up this and other projects related to interceptor drones, which «have already proven themselves against Russia’s 'shaheed' terror.»
Interestingly, several Ukrainian drone manufacturing companies have already announced their entry into the UK.
Thus, in July, Ukrainian Skyeton and British Prevail Partners announced the creation of the first joint British-Ukrainian venture for the production of Raybird drones.
And just recently, Ukrspecsystems announced an investment of 200 million pounds to build a drone manufacturing plant in the UK.
