A vacancy has appeared at DOU for the position of CEO of the Lviv IT Cluster: what are the requirements?

According to the job description at DOU , the position of CEO of the Lviv IT Cluster is a role for a leader who "combines strategic thinking with a hands-on approach, is able to effectively interact with various stakeholders, and takes responsibility for the scale and impact of the organization."

The largest Ukrainian business association of tech companies is looking for a full-time person to work in the office (10:00 - 19:00, Mon-Fri). But this is only 70% of the time, as this role involves business trips, among the responsibilities of which is to represent the Cluster in public communications.

Requirements:

• 7–10+ years of experience in managing organizations (50–100+ people).
• Successful cases of building processes, transformations, and scaling a company.
• Experience in fundraising, grants or equivalent in international projects; interaction with authorities, universities, business partners.
• Strong strategic and operational skills: planning, budgeting, KPIs, risk management.
• Fluency in Ukrainian (for internal communications) and English (for external communications) from level C1.
• Willingness to be in Lviv ~70% of the time, business trips to Kyiv and other cities.
• Leadership and communication skills: the ability to unite stakeholders and lead a team to results.

For this role, experience in the corporate sector or public service, particularly in interacting with government agencies, would be an added advantage. The candidate should be fluent in the IT industry and understand the principles of how the technology ecosystem functions.

We would like to remind you that at the end of January, the Supervisory Board of the Lviv IT Cluster decided to remove CEO Stepan Veselovsky.

The conflict has been going on since last year - the parties disagreed on the vision of the development strategy and operational processes. In addition, Veselovsky, without the consent of the board, transferred the rights to a number of key trademarks to his deputy Yuriy Ogonovsky.
