In January of this year, exports of IT services from Ukraine amounted to $508 million, which brought the Ukrainian economy 25,8%, or $177 million less compared to December last year.
This was reported by the Lviv IT Cluster, citing data from the NBU.
At the same time, compared to January 2025, the export of IT services increased by 3,9%, or by $19 million.
The head of the research team of the Lviv IT Cluster, Yaryna Voznyak, noted that January of this year showed stability and growth compared to the same period last year, as in 2025 the figure was $489 million — the lowest result since the beginning of the full-scale invasion and a record low for Ukrainian IT exports.
«Today, the Ukrainian IT sector remains one of the leading exporters of services and provides significant foreign exchange earnings to the economy. However, these data indicate stabilization rather than growth, as the indicator remains at the level of January 2024,» comments Wozniak.
Meanwhile, Ukraine’s total export revenue from all services in January of this year amounted to $1.247 billion, which is 24,5% or $405 million less compared to December 2025.
The share of computer services in the structure of total service exports in January 2026 was 40,7%, which is 0,9% more compared to the same period last year. At the same time, it decreased by 0,7% compared to December 2025.
