«There are employees in the army whom the company continues to support. And also booked, but refuses to name the specific number,» said Reface co-founder Ivan Altsybeev in an interview with DOU.
As for the office in Kyiv, Reface does not plan to close it.
«Our office remains. This is important for the functioning of the company against the background of shelling (we have a bomb shelter) and problems with electricity (we have generators),» Alcibeyev noted.
When asked what the situation is with the company’s products and in which projects they invest the most, Ivan Alcibeev names three profitable applications that continue to be developed. These are Reface, Revive for animating images and Ink AI, an application for generating and trying on tattoos.
«Ink AI is our big win this year. «A few months after its launch in the summer, it took first place in the US App Store in the Graphics & Design category and immediately became profitable,» says the co-CEO.
At the same time, according to Ivan Altsybeev, the flagship application Reface has about 500,000 active users every month, which is several times less than last year.
As a reminder, the Ukrainian food company Reface is cutting 35% of its team.
