mono is ready to break into the crypto market when it starts to be regulated in Ukraine.
The co-founder of monobank Oleg Horokhovsky spoke about his attitude to cryptocurrency.
“It's hard not to believe in Bitcoin right now when it's worth $100,000 a coin. I have some kind of "portfolio" in cryptocurrencies and I believe that this is something that should be paid attention to," said the entrepreneur.
He mentioned that President-elect Donald Trump and his team are crypto enthusiasts. And that with their coming to power, enthusiasm will be added both to the whole world and to our regulator, which will allow Ukrainians to operate cryptocurrencies.
"We made a good project. I am sorry that he still has the same participation as in our Polish project. But I do not give up hope that we will succeed. When we made it, we had the goal of popularizing crypto and for our clients to see that it is not so difficult," said Oleg Horohovskyi.
According to him, the IMF does not really welcome the legalization of cryptocurrency in Ukraine, but people want it. "If there is the will of the regulator, then we would do something useful and interesting (in kryptonish - ed.), as mono usually does," the entrepreneur concluded.
