IT company SoftServe has announced the launch of its annual Open Call 2026 competition. Five socially important projects will be selected for it, for which technological solutions will be created. Who can participate?
The competition is held as part of the OpenTech charitable initiative, which was created by SoftServe employees in 2019. 80 projects have already been implemented within its framework.
International and local NGOs, charitable foundations, social enterprises, media, local governments and state authorities from four countries — Ukraine, Poland, Colombia and Mexico — are eligible to participate in the competition. They will be evaluated in categories such as scale, relevance, impact of the initiative or project on communities, the environment, as well as the availability of technological expertise in OpenTech to implement a particular solution.

The deadline for applications is February 18, 2026. You can submit your application via this link, after reading all the terms and conditions of the competition on the website. The winners of the selection will be announced by April 30.
Previously, OpenTech volunteers in Ukraine have already implemented in 2025 an update of the global version of the Serhiy Prytula Foundation website — Prytula Foundation USA, an online platform for reforestation for WWF-Ukraine, a website for the sectoral state archive of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, and an AI-driven HR assistant for the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
