On January 9, the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Individual Entrepreneurs and Public Organizations (USRE) will resume operations after a large-scale cyberattack by Russia.
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Justice, whose website also resumed operations yesterday after a cyberattack.
«Electronic information interaction with state bodies will be resumed — the State Tax Service, the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, the Pension Fund of Ukraine, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, and other departments that use USR data in their activities,» the ministry noted.
A number of online services will also be available in the «Diya» application. The following functions will be restored on the USR portal:
free search for information in the register;
forming extracts;
obtaining results of administrative services by access code;
access of government agencies to registry information through access identifiers.
The ministry also assured that specialists from the National Information Systems, together with the Cyber Police, the Cyber Department of the Security Service of Ukraine, and the State Special Communications Commission, are doing everything possible not only to restore the operation of the registers, but also to strengthen their protection.
As dev.ua reported, after the largest-scale cyberattack by the Russians, the work of the state registry of the DRACS was restored, so Ukrainians are once again able to register marriages, births, and other civil status acts.
