As reported by People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has already nominated Mykhailo Fedorov for the position of Minister of Defense of Ukraine. A meeting of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security and a vote in the hall are also scheduled for January 13.

Good afternoon, esteemed members of parliament. Good afternoon, Ukrainians.
Today I am not just reporting on the work of the ministry. I am reporting on the change in the model of the state. Six and a half years ago, we started with a simple but radical idea: the state should work for the people, not the other way around.
In 2019, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky set the task of building a «State in a Smartphone.» At the time, many said: this is impossible. Today, it is a reality for millions of Ukrainians.
We have gone through a path that other countries need 15–20 years to complete. We did it in 6. And we did it in wartime. We created the Ministry of Digital Transformation from scratch — not a formal institution, but a technological center for change. We built the CDTO system — so that digitalization would be in every ministry, in every reform, in every decision.
We have achieved results that cannot be ignored:
