Denis Shtilerman, co-founder of Ukrainian defense-tech company Fire Point, said that after his name became public, he completely changed his own security rules. According to him, now he does not spend the night in the same place twice, moves around under guard and no longer deals with personal security issues on his own.
After the public outcry surrounding the company, Stillerman said in an interview with LIGA.net that he was forced to radically change his lifestyle: «I don’t spend a single night in the same place.»
According to him, if before he traveled only with a driver, now dozens of people ensure his safety. «The number of security guards has increased significantly… These are constant new protocols, constant checks,» the entrepreneur shared.
Stillerman says that his greatest fear was not for himself. «I was very afraid for the lives of my children, who were in Moscow at the time, when my name was made public,» admits the developer of the Ukrainian ballistic missile.
After that, he says, there was no point in hiding his identity. «There was no point in sitting around and hiding. We had to come out publicly and refute the lies about the company,» he explains.
At the same time, he notes that he doesn’t let fear influence his work. «I’ve delegated my security concerns to professionals and I don’t think about it anymore,» Stillerman says.
Previously, Stillerman said that he was almost certain that the Russians would not be able to intercept the Ukrainian ballistic missile, the launch of which was announced for the fall of this year.
