Student Startup Fund is back: even more opportunities for future Ukrainian founders

Student Startup Fund 2.0 is designed for those who have been thinking about starting their own startup for a long time, but didn't know where to start. To participate, all you need is an idea or a desire to find like-minded people and create it together.

From idea to MVP in 12 weeks

During the three-month program, participants will gain not only knowledge about launching a startup, but also practical experience in creating a product. The acceleration is designed as a practical bridge between an idea and a real business and includes:

• Educational block : lectures and workshops from founders, investors and leaders of the Ukrainian tech industry.
• Mentoring support : regular one-on-one sessions with experts for product and business model development.
• Working on a startup : weekly practical tasks, hypothesis testing, and MVP creation.
• Networking : meeting other teams, entrepreneurs, partners, and representatives of the innovation ecosystem.

Ideas know no borders: build a startup from anywhere in Ukraine

The program combines online and offline formats, so students from any region of Ukraine can join. The main activities will be held online, and key events and the final Demo Day will be held in the UNIT.City innovation park. This format allows everyone to gain access to the entrepreneurial ecosystem regardless of their place of study or residence.

Support for the state, business and innovation ecosystem

Student Startup Fund 2.0 brings together the state, business, and leading players in the innovation ecosystem to create the most favorable conditions for students to launch their own startups. Such synergy opens up access to expertise, mentoring support, professional networking, and opportunities for further project development.

The organizer is UNIT.City with the assistance of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Startup Fund. The program is implemented with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and the Ukrainian Youth Fund.

The title partner of the program is OMD Optimum Media Ukraine. The ecosystem partners are EUNITED Digital Hub and 1991 Accelerator, and the program partner is Bolt. Together, they form an environment in which student ideas have a chance to turn into competitive technological products and successful startups.

Demo Day: the final stage of the program and the opportunity to receive funding

The finale of Student Startup Fund 2.0 will be Demo Day, a day when teams present their startups to investors, business representatives, and innovation ecosystem experts. For participants, this is not just a summary of 12 weeks of work, but also an opportunity to get professional feedback, find partners, attract the attention of potential investors, and take the next step towards scaling their own product.

Post-acceleration support after Demo Day

It is important that startups continue to grow after the official part is completed, so program graduates will have access to post-acceleration support, which includes maintaining contact with mentors and assistance in planning the next strategic steps.
