The Podilskyi District Court of Kyiv has seized Bybit crypto wallets used to withdraw funds from the illegal activities of the online casino 1win.com. The accounts were found to contain over 500,000 USDT received from the gambling platform.
The Podilskyi District Court of Kyiv has seized Bybit crypto wallets used to withdraw funds from the illegal activities of the online casino 1win.com. The accounts were found to contain over 500,000 USDT received from the gambling platform.
On January 27, 2026, the Podilskyi District Court granted the prosecutor’s office’s motion to seize virtual assets in the case of money laundering (Part 3 of Article 209 of the Criminal Codex of Ukraine).
The Cyber Police Department has discovered the website 1win.com, which provides access to online casinos and gambling without a license in Ukraine. The site operates freely from the territory of Ukraine without any territorial restrictions and allows Ukrainians to replenish accounts and receive winnings.
The investigation investigated a cluster of crypto wallets associated with 1win.com and discovered large-scale withdrawals through the two largest crypto exchanges, Binance and Bybit. One of these crypto wallets on Binance received 662,507 USDT during the entire period, of which 215,011 USDT came directly from 1win.com. Another crypto wallet on Bybit received 503,676 USDT, of which 142,364 USDT came directly from the casino.
The Chainalysis platform, which was used during the investigation, determined that a significant portion of the virtual assets on both wallets came from the «Gambling» category.
Cyber police have identified both accounts on Bybit and Binance as belonging to the same Ukrainian citizen. Law enforcement officials believe the suspect used these crypto exchanges to launder funds obtained from an illegal gambling organization.
Information from crypto exchanges Binance and Bybit showed that among the individuals receiving a significant amount of assets are citizens of the Russian Federation. The court noted that this creates channels for uncontrolled movement of funds through cryptocurrency instruments and poses a threat to the functioning of financial flows in favor of structures that may be affiliated with the aggressor state.
The court has seized virtual assets in the Bybit account and banned their use. The crypto exchange must block the account immediately upon receiving the decision.
