Ukrainian-based company Grammarly has announced a rebranding to Superhuman. The new name will combine the products of Grammarly and previously acquired startups Coda and Superhuman.
«The new name reflects the company’s evolution into an AI productivity platform that brings together applications and AI agents. Superhuman makes using AI easier and more accessible so people can work faster and more efficiently,» the now-Superhuman press release states.
The company acquired the startup Coda, whose main product is the eponymous cloud-based multi-user document editor, in December 2024. It was reported that Grammarly’s services would be combined with the Coda Brain AI assistant, making the tool «smarter» and «more useful.»
Superhuman, a startup developing an AI tool for email, was acquired this summer. Grammarly said the move accelerates the company’s transformation into an AI platform for productivity.
«The rebranding we are announcing today is the next step in Grammarly’s evolution. Our product has long since moved beyond just helping with written communication, and the acquisition of Coda and Superhuman tools has strengthened our movement towards creating an AI platform that supports various aspects of productive work. The Grammarly name, which is an integral part of our identity, is not going anywhere. It is our roots and at the same time one of the key products of the new platform,» assured Grammarly co-founder Oleksiy Shevchenko.

He reported that the company currently employs 1,500 people in different countries around the world and added that Superhuman will continue to support the team in Ukraine and the Kyiv hub.
«We also continue to join initiatives aimed at supporting Ukraine during a full-scale war. In recent years, we have joined a number of humanitarian and medical projects, programs for the reconstruction of social infrastructure and support for veterans. This year, we began a particularly symbolic collaboration for us with the Superhumans War Trauma Center by signing a memorandum of partnership. We are proud to have the opportunity to support their mission and join their free prosthetics program,» said Shevchenko.
In addition to the rebranding, the former Grammarly announced a new Superhuman Suite, which combines four products: the Grammarly service, the Coda universal workspace, the Superhuman Mail smart email client, and the new Superhuman Go product. This is an AI assistant that offers proactive suggestions to the user thanks to a set of AI agents that «understand the context of work and help get rid of routine.»
Superhuman Suite is now available on paid plans .
According to the developers, Superhuman Go helps in any tab or application the user is working in. The assistant can integrate with over 100 tools, make real-time suggestions, and coordinate a team of AI agents working in documents.
Superhuman Go features:
Superhuman Go launches with dozens of agents in the Superhuman Agent Store. These include connector agents that integrate Go with the tools people use every day—email, documents, chat, task trackers, and more. There are also text-based agents and partner agents that offer expert help for specific tasks.
Superhuman Go, along with connector and partner agents, is available now to Grammarly users and new Superhuman users on Chrome and Edge, and will be available on Mac and Windows at a later date. All Superhuman Go features will be available at no additional cost until February 1, 2026.
