UPD: Today, the SvitloDim state program has officially launched in Ukraine, which will help ensure autonomous power supply during long power outages
The government has launched the SvitloDim state support program for residents of apartment buildings, which will help them purchase energy equipment. It is aimed at ensuring autonomous power supply during long outages for water supply, communications, elevators, lighting, and heating.

The program may be financed from the state budget, international partners, or other sources, the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development reported .
«We want to provide a simple and understandable assistance mechanism that will work quickly, online, and transparently. People will be able to choose their own equipment and supplier. We must provide real support for the operation of home life support systems,» said Oleksiy Kuleba, Minister of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine.
The amount of state aid will range from 100,000 to 300,000 hryvnias, depending on the number of floors in the building and the number of entrances. The funds can be used to purchase:
gasoline, diesel or gas generators;
inverters;
high-voltage battery control units;
batteries;
solar panels.

All applications will be submitted online on the official website of the program through an electronic account on the «Diya» portal, which will be operational in the near future. The Commission under the Ministry of Development reviews and approves applications, and payment is made within 48 hours after validation.
UPD 30.01: 17:30: The program to support the energy sustainability of apartment buildings has been officially launched on the Diya portal, so condominium associations, managers, and housing cooperatives can now submit applications for assistance. The conditions have also been detailed by floor number: buildings up to 6 floors can receive 100,000 hryvnias, buildings from 7 to 16 floors — 200,000 hryvnias, and buildings from 17 floors and above, as well as buildings with boiler rooms or large multi-entrance facilities — 300,000 hryvnias.
Equipment must be purchased within 45 calendar days from the date of receipt, but no later than December 20, 2026. If the funds were not used or the purchase of equipment was impossible, the recipient must return the funds within 45 calendar days from the date of receipt of the assistance, but no later than December 20, 2026.
The Ministry of Development and Trade has already launched the official website " SvitloDim «, which contains all the basic information about the program. The opportunity to apply for state aid will appear in the near future.
