Over 130,000 enemy targets hit: the Ministry of Defense reported on the results of the DELTA system implementation at all levels of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in two months and a number of updates
On August 6, 2025, Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal signed an order authorizing the use of the Ukrainian DELTA digital combat ecosystem at all levels of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This provided the legal basis for the widespread use of the system.
On August 6, 2025, Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal signed an order authorizing the use of the Ukrainian DELTA digital combat ecosystem at all levels of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This provided the legal basis for the widespread use of the system.
Over these two months, more than 130,000 destroyed and damaged enemy targets were verified, 25% of which were enemy personnel.
In addition, automatic reporting and analytics have been expanded in the DELTA system:
for reconnaissance - the military can report on detected targets at a distance of more than 20 km from the line of combat contact, and additional incentives have been introduced for reconnaissance;
for logistical missions using ground robotic complexes.
"DELTA is increasingly moving towards a data-driven concept of warfare, where analytics and battlefield information become an additional but indispensable tool for making critical decisions," said Denys Shmyhal.
Thanks to a series of updates to the technology of automatic detection of enemy equipment by artificial intelligence , its accuracy has increased to 70% of unique units. At the same time, the average detection speed is only 2.2 seconds. Currently, the development of the night detection function is underway in parallel.
The Ministry of Defense has dismissed the head of the Innovation Center, who founded the part where DELTA was developed. What will Marat Utyushev do next?
