Attempt No. 3. Kyivstar really wants to buy the medicine aggregator Tabletki.ua — the operator has submitted an application to the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine for the third time to acquire the service.
On July 7, the mobile operator Kyivstar submitted to the Antimonopoly Committee (AMCU) a third application for the purchase of LLC MTPK, a legal entity that owns the Tabletki brand.
On July 7, the mobile operator Kyivstar submitted to the Antimonopoly Committee (AMCU) a third application for the purchase of LLC MTPK, a legal entity that owns the Tabletki brand.
As Forbes Ukraine reports, this is the operator’s third attempt to acquire a medicine delivery service. Kyivstar submitted its first application back in November last year. The committee returned it, stating that it did not meet the requirements of the Regulations on the Procedure for Considering Applications. In February 2025, the company tried again, and was again refused .
The reason, according to Forbes interlocutors, is the different interpretation of the market size by the AMCU and Kyivstar. The committee believes that the online doctor appointment service Helsi, which is 98% owned by Kyivstar, together with Tabletki.ua may create unequal conditions for other players in the market.
Tabletki.ua is one of the most popular pharmaceutical services in Ukraine. It is used by about 10 million people every month. It was founded by the Muravshchyk family with partners, creating an aggregator that allows you to search for drugs in pharmacies and book them for further offline purchase. The current price of Tabletki.ua could be $30-80 million, according to the Forbes analytical department.
The Muravshchyk family collectively owns 56% of MTPK LLC. Oleksandr and Natalia Muravshchyk each own 23%. Yevhen Muravshchyk owns another 10%. Yuriy Savchyn owns 20%, Volodymyr Osmachko 15%, and Vadym Rohatynskyi 9%.
In 2024, 12,000 retail outlets cooperated with Tabletki.ua. This is almost 70% of the country’s entire pharmaceutical retail. In 2023, pharmacies sold medicines worth UAH 25 billion using the Tabletki.ua service. The service earns 2% commission on each sale.
Not destined? The Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine rejected Kyivstar’s application to purchase the Tabletki.ua medicine booking service for the second time
