TAF Industries is expanding its unmanned solutions portfolio across all domains, announcing a partnership with a water drone manufacturer. The company also plans to launch production of middlestrikes, deepstrikes, and interceptors for Shahed jets — all of which are its own solutions.
This was stated by TAF Industries CEO Volodymyr Zinovsky in an interview with dev.ua.
“We decided that there are already enough interceptors on the market that develop a speed of about 300 km/h, the need for them is closed. Therefore, we abandoned the idea of making another ordinary interceptor, and are working on a solution that will allow developing a speed of more than 450 km/h,” Zinovsky noted, adding that this is a completely new development of the company, which should go into mass production by the end of the year.
According to Zinovsky, the new development has already passed successful flight tests.
In addition, as explained by the CEO of TAF Industries, they intend to enter into a partnership with a manufacturer of water drones by acquiring a stake in this company.
"We have not yet touched on such a domain as water. We have a potential partner with whom we are already actually interacting, because we constantly participate in various military tests. In the near future, I think we can also formalize these partnerships and officially declare that water vehicles are also appearing in our product line, in addition to aerial drones and NRCs," Zinovsky announced, refusing to name the name of this company.
Also among the new products that are expected to go into production within six months are middle strikes and deep strikes of our own design.
“In the near future, we will be ready to present our own solutions for both middle strikes and deep strikes,” Zinovsky assured.
Among other solutions that are also being developed by the company, Volodymyr Zinovskyi named a new reconnaissance drone, released in a different segment than the already popular, budget "Babka".
“On the one hand, we continue to improve the “Babka”, but we are also working on a new product. It is in a completely different class in terms of technical characteristics, but, of course, it is significantly more expensive than the “Babka”. By releasing a new scout, we will provide more variability so that for different tasks you can choose exactly the tool that will be most effective,” the CEO of TAF Industries shared the details.
