Ukrainian studio Swytapp Games is working on a «claustrophobic» horror game called The Floor Above, in which the player can only turn, blink, and decide what is reality and what is fiction.
«You wake up tied to a chair in a room. Someone is watching you. All you can do is turn around and look around every corner. See something strange? Press the red button. Everything looks normal? Press the green one. Either way, the cycle repeats itself — but never the same,» the developers describe the game.
The Floor Above is the first independent project by the Swytapp Games team, which previously made custom games. They have been working on this game for about 10 months.

Among the game’s features, «Morty the cat» also stands out, described as a «sometimes funny» or «terrifying» character.
«We’re polishing our horror, working on a demo, and adding some secret anomalies,» said Alla Sobko, COO at Swytapp Games, about the status of the game’s development.
The Floor Above already has a Steam page where you can add it to your wishlist. The project is scheduled for release in the fall of 2025.
