The Chief-1 has a light and durable frame, powerful engines, high maneuverability, and a successful design for air combat, the Ministry of Defense reports , citing the Main Directorate for Lifecycle Support of Armaments and Military Equipment.
The drones are equipped with automatic recognition systems and achieving the optimal distance to hit the target. They can fire in manual or automatic mode. Chief-1 destroys enemy FPVs, bombers, some types of correction aircraft, and reconnaissance aircraft.
Previously, the Ministry of Defense codified the "Anti-Drone Pistol", which uses electromagnetic interference to block the control and video signal channels of enemy drones.
This winter, the Ministry of Defense allowed the "Witcher" drone to be used in the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This is a high-speed UAV capable of catching up with enemy wheeled vehicles.
