According to DOU sources in government circles, Deputy Minister for Digitalization Kateryna Chernogorenko and Deputy Minister for Innovation in the Military Valery Churkin are leaving their positions.
According to preliminary information, the areas of digitalization and innovation, which were overseen by Chernogorenko and Churkin, will be combined into one structural unit. It is currently unknown who will head it, although the name of the new deputy is already known in the department, but has not yet been disclosed.
Despite the changes in leadership positions, the teams working on the ministry's key projects continue their work. However, their future fate and the configuration of the projects remain uncertain at this time.
dev.ua contacted Kateryna Chernogorenko for an official comment, but at the time of publication there was no response yet.
Recently, there were personnel changes in the government , according to which the new Minister of Defense was former Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, replacing Rustem Umerov. When the previous head of the Ministry of Defense took office, he also removed the then Deputy Minister for Digitalization, Vitaliy Deynega .
