The prototype of the drone was presented in 2023, and the development itself has been going on for five years. During the development, artificial intelligence programs were actively involved.
Jeniah can carry a payload of up to 500 kilograms, and the jet engine gives the drone a cruising speed of up to Mach 0.7 and a top speed of over 1,000 km/h. Breaking Defense reports that the drone is one of the fastest UCAVs in its class.
Jeniah's AI is used for target identification, navigation, and other missions. The drone can operate independently or in conjunction with other drones in a swarm.
Jeniah has a maximum takeoff weight of over 4,000 kg, a wingspan of 7 meters and a length of 11 meters. Its payload includes guided munitions, reconnaissance equipment and electronic warfare systems.
