The American president wrote about this on his social network Truth Social.
According to Trump, his communication with the Apple CEO began with a phone call about a difficult problem that only he could solve. Trump noted that he was impressed by Cook’s directness, who decided to approach him personally instead of involving consultants.
«When I got the call, I said, ‘Wow, it’s Tim from Apple calling — that’s incredible!’ I was really impressed that the head of Apple was calling to ‘kiss my ass,’» Donald Trump shared his memories.

He added that he considers Cook a more effective leader than Apple founder Steve Jobs in terms of scaling the company’s success.
