«With Halo: Campaign Evolved officially launching on PlayStation in 2026 with cross-play, GameStop, acting in its capacity as a neutral organization and global leader in game retail and trading, hereby declares the console wars officially over,» GameStop said.
The statement notes that console fans are ordered to cease hostilities, «disband armed formations, and enjoy a new era of gaming.»

Halo: Campaign Evolved is a full-fledged remake of the Halo: Combat Evolved story campaign for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC (Steam, Microsoft Store).
