«We are hiring a Head of Readiness. This is a critical role at an important time: models are rapidly improving and are now capable of many great things, but they are also starting to create real challenges,» Alman wrote on his X account.
In this context, Altman mentioned the potential negative impact of AI models on the mental health of users, as well as the large number of potential abuses in this area.
«We are entering a world where we need a more nuanced understanding and measurement of how these capabilities can be abused, and how we can limit these vulnerabilities in both our products,» Altman added.
He called for applications for this position from professionals who are ready to provide cybersecurity professionals with advanced development opportunities, ensuring that «malicious actors cannot use them to cause harm.»
