A large Ukrainian drone manufacturer, TAF Industries, has signed a memorandum of understanding to establish a joint venture with the Danish company Upteko.
The agreement was signed during the DALO Industry Days in Denmark, the press service of the Ukrainian defense company told dev.ua.
The partnership involves collaboration in expanding production capabilities in the field of FPV drones, developing technologies, and diversifying supply chains.
The companies plan to produce thousands of drones per month, starting in early 2027, and their cooperation is being implemented within the framework of the Build with Ukraine initiative.
«Upteko has a strong team of engineers with deep expertise in the field of drones, electronics, software and hardware. TAF Industries, for its part, has practical experience in rapidly scaling production, optimizing production processes and, most importantly, direct feedback from Ukrainian defense personnel who use unmanned systems in real combat conditions every day. It is the combination of Upteko’s engineering expertise with TAF Industries' real-world experience that creates a strong foundation for joint development and scaling of new solutions,» commented Volodymyr Zinovsky, CEO of TAF Industries, on the signing of the agreement.
In turn, Upteko founder Benjamin Meinerz emphasized that the establishment of a production facility and development office outside of Ukraine forms a solid foundation for cooperation in research, engineering, and manufacturing.
