This was stated by Yevgeny Briksin, a specialist of the State Special Communications Service, speaking during one of the international events, the press service of the department reports.
According to him, the number of new hacker groups conducting such cyber operations has also increased.
Among the main cyber threats to Ukraine, he highlighted cyber espionage and financial crimes.
In addition, the specialist reported that as part of responding to cyber incidents, the State Service for Special Communications has established an exchange of information about cyber threats with many organizations from the European Union and NATO countries.
As dev.ua previously wrote, the State Service for Special Communications recorded 3,018 cyber incidents in the first six months of 2025, while in the second half of 2024 there were 2,575.
