In the city of Sheptytskyi in the Lviv region, a modern educational and practical center «Construction Engineering and Automation» was opened on the basis of a local college, and a 3D construction printer that prints with cement mixture was installed within the new space.

As the press service of the Lviv OVA reported, this is the only similar device in educational institutions in Western Ukraine and called it unique.
«The creation of this center is designed to provide training for competitive specialists for the construction and IT industries. And working with new devices will allow students to gain practical skills in digital design and automated construction,» explained the college director, Nataliya Kurivchak.
It is reported that specialists in the specialties «Software Engineering» and «Construction and Civil Engineering» will be trained here, and up to 300 students will be able to study at the center at the same time.
The center also equipped the Smart Home learning space, where students will be able to master the operation of engineering systems in real conditions, and the training and practical center was equipped with modern machine tools and equipment for processing materials and metal, electrical installation work, and a computer laboratory with powerful equipment for design and modeling.
In total, more than UAH 13 million was raised from various budgets to modernize the center.
