“We have about 15 countries on our radar.” Kitsoft CEO talks about the govtech company’s entry into international markets

Kitsoft CEO Oleksandr Yefremov announced the scaling of the company’s activities in international markets, in particular, he spoke about projects in a number of African countries.
He shared this in an interview with dev.ua, noting that the company’s offices are open in Brussels and Berlin.
“Among the launched projects is a project on Liquio in Belgium, called BelDoc. It allows you to open a business online — something we are already used to in Ukraine, but which did not exist on the Belgian market. It is a little more complicated with regulation there, but we have found ways to launch this solution. We are currently doing several pilot projects with German cities,” said Yefremov.
According to him, Kitsoft also actively works with African countries and has created a separate French-speaking team to work with French-speaking countries.
“In Africa, our biggest success is in Côte d’Ivoire, where we work with a local state corporation. They set a goal to master Liquio technologies and understand how our platform works and how to build services on it. So we are actively involved in deploying the platform, training the team, and creating the first package of services,” he added.
Efremov also stated that Kitsoft is implementing several more pilot projects internationally with organizations such as ITU and the World Bank, as well as conducting pilot projects in African countries such as Mauritania, Senegal, and Nigeria.
“In total, we currently have about 15 countries on our radar,” summarized the Kitsoft CEO.
He concluded that both more developed countries and less developed ones face the same problems in govtech as Ukraine.
