The company distributed the relevant instructions on its social networks.
Nova Poshta identifies three things that you absolutely must not do with its mail machines in order to unlock them during these frosty days. Among them:
- prohibition of pouring hot water on the post office;
- use salt or chemicals;
- heat the post office with an open fire.
Instead, the company recommends first trying to open the cell using the button in the app a few times, and if that doesn’t work, gently pressing the cell door with your hands. They also recommend knocking on your own and neighboring cells to break the ice off them to unlock the cell.
In case of complete failure and ineffectiveness of these steps, Nova Poshta advises you to contact the hotline.
