«In Nova Poshta, 170 people in this age category were laid off in 10 days, but 64 were hired at the same time. That is, the net outflow was only 106 employees. This is not a significant problem for the company. After all, ten days is not enough for serious analytics — let’s look at the results in a month or two,» he noted in a Facebook post.
At the same time, Volodymyr Popereshnyuk basically supports allowing this category of men to leave.
«Some of the youth will leave, especially those who will soon turn 23. But at the same time, this opens the door for thousands of young people to return to the country. Now 18-22-year-olds will be able to freely cross the border in two directions. And most importantly, the outflow of 17-year-old boys will decrease,» the co-owner of Novaya Poshta expressed his opinion.
He believes that it was the latter factor — reducing the outflow of young people who are about to turn 18 — that was the key motivation for the authorities to take this step.
«Business’s concern about this decision is understandable. Young people have really started to quit their jobs more actively… But the more freedom people have, the more opportunities they have, the more the economy develops and salaries grow faster,» Popereshnyuk is convinced.
As dev.ua reported, co-owner of the NOVA group of companies (Nova Poshta) Vyacheslav Klimov is convinced that entering foreign markets is the right and only alternative step for Ukrainian technology business, despite all possible obstacles along the way.
