According to the press service of the State Special Communications Service, such centers have been launched at the National Aerospace University «Kharkiv Aviation Institute», V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University, LLC «Science Park of the State University «Zhytomyr Polytechnic», the National Academy of the Security Service of Ukraine, and Vinnytsia National Technical University.
For these five training centers, relevant regulations have been approved, training programs have been agreed upon, the staff of trainers has been agreed upon, and other major organizational and technical issues of the project have been resolved.
There are also plans to expand the geography of training centers, in particular, the further opening of branches in Odessa, Kharkiv, Lviv, and Ivano-Frankivsk.
As dev.ua previously wrote, KPI created the first educational cyber incident response team in Ukraine .
A platform for training cybersecurity managers has also been launched in Ukraine. About 900 specialists are expected to complete the training there over the course of a year.
