“The reason is restructuring and optimizing the team’s workflows, including reviewing workloads and work tools. This is part of a broader review of how we organize resources to work more efficiently,” Plantin said.
In particular, the reduction affected the PR department, as noted on LinkedIn by the company's excommunicators Tanya Myalkovska and Elizaveta Yavorska .
The company will pay everyone affected by the layoffs their salaries by the end of the month, compensate for unused vacation in the amount of 50%, and maintain health insurance until mid-September.
The company will also provide laid-off employees with recommendations and, upon agreement, add them to resource management within the ecosystem.
