The National Information System is undergoing unscheduled maintenance, which is already affecting the stability of the work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs service centers and a number of online services. The department warned of possible difficulties for drivers and car owners.
As reported by the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in its official Telegram channel, on May 26, unscheduled technical work began in the National Information System, due to which some services in service centers and online platforms are temporarily provided with interruptions.
In particular, in some regions there may be problems with the following services:
Maintenance of the Unified State Register of Vehicles and the Register of Administrative Offenses in the Field of Road Safety is also ongoing. This work affects the functioning of online services, in particular the «Diya» application and the Driver’s Cabinet.

The Central Communications Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that the full restoration of the functioning of all services will be announced later. Citizens are asked to treat the situation with understanding.
The National Information System provides the digital infrastructure for many government services, including road safety. Outages in its operation can directly affect the availability of administrative procedures both in service centers and online. This is not the first time such difficulties have occurred — technical work at the NIS has previously caused temporary restrictions on access to government services.
As a reminder, at the end of April, Ukraine experienced a large-scale failure of payment services and applications. Disruptions were recorded in the operation of «Diya», the «Nova Poshta» application, as well as transactions via Apple/Google Pay and online banking.
