This was reported by the company’s co-owner Iryna Chechotkina. She specified that seven victims are currently in the hospital, one of them in serious condition.
«We will provide the victims and their families with medical, psychological, and material assistance. Unfortunately, nothing will bring a person back to life. All our thoughts and condolences are with the family. Everything else — we will rebuild and restore. ROZETKA is working,» noted Iryna Chechotkina.
According to eyewitnesses, yesterday at around 1:00 p.m. the bypass road around Brovary, where the warehouse complex is located, was temporarily closed. At the same time, a damaged company minibus was spotted nearby, moving away from the warehouse with its emergency alarm on.
The company emphasized that it will restore all damaged capacity and continue to fulfill orders.
UPD. On August 2, Rozetka reported that its infrastructure was attacked again. This time, the «shaheeds» hit the company’s largest warehouse.
«This is the second attack on our warehouse in 24 hours. It is definitely not an accident, but a targeted attack. Nevertheless, ROZETKA is operating on schedule,» the company noted .
At the same time, users report that they have begun receiving notifications about delayed shipments due to a new attack.
«At night, our compound was attacked again by the Russians. This time, 2 martyrs were hit. Fortunately, there were no casualties,» Iryna Chechotkina commented on the new attack.
This is not the first time that Ukrainian e-commerce and logistics facilities have been hit by Russian attacks. Since the start of the full-scale war, enemy shelling has repeatedly damaged sorting centers and warehouses of major retailers and postal operators across the country.
In response, the Defense Forces began attacking logistics facilities of Russia’s largest marketplace Wildberries. In particular, on the night of July 31, several large distribution centers and hubs of the Russian marketplaces Wildberries and Ozon in the Volgograd region and the Republic of Tatarstan were hit at once.
