Domestic FPV drone with fiber-optic control: the Armed Forces of Ukraine received a new "bird"

According to the Ministry of Defense, "Svitlovod" has already been codified and approved for operation in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The drones of the "Svitlovod" complex are built on a durable frame, have high-performance engines, and capacious lightweight batteries.

They also have a fiber-optic control channel and deliver a warhead over a distance of several dozen kilometers.

The drones are equipped with automatic target detection and recognition systems. Depending on the configuration, they can be equipped with day or night cameras.

The "Fiber Optic" deploys into combat position in a few minutes.

Recall that in April, Brave1 conducted a large-scale test of fiber-optic FPV drones , in which more than 15 UAV manufacturers participated.

In total, since the beginning of 2025, more than 60 samples of unmanned aircraft systems with a fiber-optic control channel have been approved for operation in the troops.
