Cloud provider UCloud has announced the addition of five managers to its management team. Here’s what they will be responsible for.

According to him, UCloud continues to expand the team, investing in the development of specialists, technologies and management practices. The personnel changes reflect the company’s strategic course to strengthen its position as a cloud provider that develops infrastructure to help businesses on the path of digital transformation in Ukraine and around the world.
The following joined the company’s team:
Serhiy Kolesnychenko is the Chief Operating Officer of UCloud. Serhiy has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications sector. At Datagroup, he implemented international projects together with Google, Telia, Level 3, DE-CIX, AMS-IX. After that, he headed DTEL-IX, an independent Ukrainian traffic exchange point, which he transformed into one of the largest platforms in the region: over 260 participating networks and traffic over 2.3 Tbit/s during peak hours. At UCloud, Serhiy will be responsible for operational activities, project management in Ukraine and for the development of UCloud in Poland.

Pavlo Zharkov is a Business Development Manager (BDM). He is a graduate of Kyiv Polytechnic Institute and started working at UCloud as a technical support engineer. He later headed the department and is currently the head of the BusinessDevelopment department. Pavlo has a unique combination of a deep understanding of the technical aspects of cloud infrastructure with extensive experience working with clients. With 24 years of professional experience in IT and telecommunications, Pavlo will help partners effectively use cloud services for business development. His path is an example of internal professional growth, which reflects the development culture at UCloud. The motto for work is: «Technologies are changing — trust remains the main thing.»
Pavlo took over the position of Business Development Manager after Danylo Belov, who worked at the company from its founding in 2011 until September 2025. Danylo stood at the origins of UCloud’s development, shaping the direction of business solutions and partner programs. UCloud expresses its gratitude to him for many years of cooperation, dedication to the cause, and building the foundation for UCloud’s future development.
Serhiy Galat is a network systems engineer. The specialist has over 30 years of experience in the telecom industry. A graduate of the Radio Physics Faculty of Dnipropetrovsk National University. Serhiy has experience from an engineer at Alkar Teleport and Optima Telecom to a technical director at Fregat and IPnet.
At UCloud, Serhiy is responsible for network infrastructure (Network/IP), ensuring the stability and continuity of the company’s services. His motto for work is: «There are more than two ways out of any mess.»
Yaroslav Verezhak — Head of Technical Support. The specialist began his career at UCloud in April 2023 as a technical support specialist. Thanks to his professionalism, systematic approach, and sustainable development, he rose to the position of Head of Technical Support.
Yaroslav has a bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity and a master’s degree in IT Project Management. His priority is to develop technical support processes, improve customer service, and implement best practices in security and cloud infrastructure. His motto for work is: «There are no problems — there are only requests that need a solution.»
Dmytro Prokop’yev — ML/AI tech lead. He has a master’s degree in «Informatics and Computer Engineering» (Kyiv Polytechnic Institute) and over 25 years of experience in telecom. Since 2000, he has worked in IT with such national companies as «UkrCom», LLC «TK «Welton.Telecom», LLC «Golden Telecom», PJSC «Ukrtelecom» and others. Since 2010, he has collaborated with the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Ukraine. In 2018, he joined the Council of Europe as a technical expert. In 2019, he opened his own company R2D2 Robotics OÜ, specializing in the use of AI/ML in data streaming systems and control systems. And since 2025, he joined the UCLOUD team as an AI&ML Tech Lead.
