Today, August 7, Uklon announced the closing of a deal to acquire 100% of the corporate rights of the e-Wings electric scooter operator for UAH 97.6 million. So, in the near future, it will launch its own micromobility service - electric scooter rental, which will become part of the ecosystem and will appear in the application soon.
The launch of the service was a logical continuation of the agreement that Uklon concluded in June 2026. Then the company acquired the e-Wings electric scooter service for $2.2 million, announcing its intention to develop the micromobility direction.
The company has not yet revealed details of the launch, including a list of cities, pricing, and launch date. However, Uklon has confirmed that the service will be available soon.
To develop the micromobility direction, Uklon created a separate Micromobility business unit, which was joined by more than 20 specialists from e-Wings. The unit was headed by e-Wings co-founder Roman Motruk (Head of Micromobility), another co-founder Oleg Bilyi (Head of Micromobility Operations) will be responsible for the operations department, and overall control will be exercised by Uklon's operations director Vadym Ishchenko.
While the service is integrated into the Uklon app, scooter rental will continue to operate through the e-Wings app in all 11 cities.
In addition, during the presentation of Uklon Brand Evolution, the company introduced the updated brand platform For Dynamic World and a new visual identity.
From now on, Uklon will develop products under a single umbrella brand model. The ecosystem includes both existing and new services:
Thus, the company is gradually transforming from a ride-hailing service into a multi-service platform, expanding its presence in related segments of urban mobility and digital services.
As a reminder, in April 2026, a controlling stake in Uklon was acquired by Kyivstar, which announced its intention to develop the service as part of its own digital ecosystem. Entering the micromobility market is one of the first new directions for the company's development after this deal.
