Ukrainian ride-hailing service Uklon has expanded its presence to four new cities — Drohobych, Mukachevo, Oleksandria, and Uman. This is the company’s first simultaneous expansion into several new cities in Ukraine since the start of the full-scale war.
This was reported by the company’s press service. Taking into account the new locations, the car ordering service now operates in 31 cities of Ukraine, as well as in the territory of the Bukovel ski resort.
"Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, economic and demographic activity has been significantly redistributed: along with people, some businesses, jobs, daily and tourist routes have moved to smaller cities in the west and center of the country. The demand for trips there is steadily growing. A city is added to our map when it simultaneously accumulates enough potential users of our services and driver-partners for the service to work with the predicted quality," noted Uklon Chief Ride-hailing Officer Olena Orlova.
In Drohobych, Oleksandria and Uman, seven car classes are available to users: “Quick Search”, “Basic”, “Standard”, “Comfort”, “Station Wagon”, “Minibus” and “Driver”. In Mukachevo, an additional “Business” class is available. Drivers and passengers can interact through the standard Uklon and Uklon Driver applications.
