According to Zelensky, the production of naval drones is one of the most promising areas in defense work now.
"It is important that there are results. And in all parts of our Europe there must be enough strength to counter any threats, and modern drones are a real tool of protection," the President emphasized .
Zelensky also thanked Portugal for its contribution to the PURL program, which allows Ukraine to purchase American weapons, and for supporting a joint European decision on a financial security guarantee for Ukraine in the coming years - we are talking about 90 billion euros for 2026-2027.
Separately, the President noted Portugal's contribution to the restoration of Ukrainian educational infrastructure, namely schools in Chernihiv and Cherkasy.
