Ukrainian defense manufacturers working under contracts concluded with the Ministry of Defense in 2024 are fulfilling their obligations 18% ahead of schedule.
In total, in 2024, within the framework of the program, the Ministry of Defense concluded 11 contracts with 8 domestic enterprises for the amount of over UAH 24 billion, which were secured by state guarantees. The contracts are designed for three years.
Supplies include:
Armored combat and medical evacuation vehicles.
Special purpose cargo equipment.
Fuel tankers and other means of providing support to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Head of the Procurement Department of the Ministry of Defense, Colonel Oleksandr Osadchy, noted that state guarantees have become an effective tool for simultaneously strengthening the army and supporting Ukrainian manufacturers. According to him, this contributes not only to providing the front with equipment, but also to creating new jobs, developing technologies, and strengthening the economy.
The Ministry of Defense plans to further develop this program to strengthen the capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and stimulate the sustainable development of the national defense industry.
Earlier, Ukrainian Armored Vehicles handed over the first batch of Novator-2 vehicles with electronic warfare equipment to the National Guard.
