According to the official report of the Defense Forces of Ukraine for July 2026, the domestic FPV drone Deadliner Q1 rose to second place in the overall rating of fiber-optic guided weapons. In addition, the development maintains leadership among fiber-optic drones in the Unmanned Systems Forces of Ukraine.
As noted by Stellarion, the drone manufacturer, in parallel with its successes on the front, the Deadliner Q1 is participating in the second phase of Gauntlet II testing as part of the US Department of War's Drone Dominance Program. This initiative is aimed at accelerating the introduction of advanced unmanned systems of American and allied production.
Deadliner Q1 is a 10-inch drone developed by a team of combat veterans and specialized engineers from v- (the name of the developing company). The drone is capable of carrying a payload of up to 2 kg, which is one of the best in its class. The drone has a maximum speed of up to 110 km/h (cruising speed - 60–70 km/h) and has a control range of up to 20 km with a flight duration of at least 20 minutes.
The main feature of the device is control and video transmission via optical fiber. This technology ensures the drone's complete invulnerability to electronic warfare (EW) equipment, making it a highly effective tool for reconnaissance and strike missions in modern warfare.
Deadliner Q1 is currently available for order through the official government platforms Brave1 Market and DOT-Chain Defence. The developers assure that thanks to the scalable production, the company is ready to fulfill orders of any volume in a short time.
TAF Industries was "inspired" by its own FPV drone Kolibri when creating a new interceptor. What are the characteristics of the product, which has already received codification from the Ministry of Defense?
