Ukrainian DefTech company Unwave, which specializes in the development of electronic warfare and counter-drone systems, has announced a change in management. Taras Bublyk will take over the position of CEO from June 20.
In his new position, Bublyk will be responsible for further scaling the business, expanding the partner network, and entering foreign markets. Meanwhile, the company's founder and co-owner Yuriy Shelmuk, who previously carried out operational management, will move on to strategic tasks. He will focus on product vision and deepening cooperation with the state and the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
Taras Bublyk joined the Unwave team in 2025, where he previously headed the direction of international cooperation and foreign economic relations. According to him, the main vector of the company's development will be the transition to broader infrastructure solutions.
"We see the future of Unwave in creating comprehensive ecosystems to counter unmanned threats: from protecting military units on the front lines to protecting critical infrastructure, businesses, and civilian facilities. Ukraine today has unique experience gained in real combat conditions. And we are ready to share this knowledge and technologies with partners," the newly appointed CEO noted.
Previously, Unwave received a license for the serial production of Octopus interceptor drones.
