Ukrainian company Skyeton, specializing in unmanned aircraft systems, and leading British defense company Prevail Partners have announced the creation of a new joint venture.
This partnership is an important step in realizing the vision of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer to strengthen defense cooperation and use innovative technologies to ensure a modern, cost-effective and ready-to-use defense capability.
The joint venture is based on Skyeton’s combat-proven Raybird system. This multi-role unmanned aerial vehicle has already logged over 350,000 combat hours in Ukraine with an exceptionally low loss rate and good operational performance. Prevail Partners notes that Raybird outperforms competitors in its class in terms of endurance, range, cost and operational reach.
As Pavlo Shevchuk, Skyeton’s International CEO, noted: “Raybird has been incredibly effective in the most challenging conditions on the Ukrainian battlefield. By forming an alliance with a respected British company that brings expertise in platform integration and deployment of unmanned systems, we expect the utility of our unmanned aircraft system to grow globally and exponentially.”
For Skyeton, this is not the first cooperation in foreign markets. Earlier, the Ukrainian company signed an agreement with the Danish Quadsat on strategic cooperation. The companies joined forces to develop electromagnetic surveillance systems. Last month, it became known that Raybird drones are already being produced in Slovakia.
