Roboavia was originally founded and based in occupied Crimea (Simferopol).
In the summer of 2023, the company signed an agreement to build a new UAV production plant directly in the Rostov region. The official place of registration of the branch was Lenina Farm.
During 2023–2025, the company's revenues grew rapidly - from 450 million rubles to 1.7 billion rubles, and net profit increased fivefold thanks to a large-scale state order from the Russian Ministry of Defense.
In addition to the main workshops in Simferopol and new facilities in Lenina Farm, the company has a training center for training operators (drone pilots) in the city of Azov (Rostov Region).
The official nomenclature of supplies is mostly classified, but open sources reveal developments such as the Sarych UAV and the Klyn loitering munitions.
