Ukrainian public organizations, together with the Ministry of Digital, launched the Trusted Flaggers initiative to protect the rights of users of artificial intelligence systems.
Ukrainian public organizations, together with the Ministry of Digital, launched the Trusted Flaggers initiative to protect the rights of users of artificial intelligence systems.
«Noticed that AI violated your rights? File a complaint and protect yourself and your data», — urges the website of the Center for Democracy and the Rule of Law.
In addition to this organization and the Ministry of Digitization, the Digital Security Laboratory and the Dnistrianski Center are working on the implementation of the Trusted Flaggers initiative.
Public organizations note that such complaints work according to the following principle:
the user detects an alleged violation on the Google platform and files a complaint;
the complaint enters the consolidated register and is first checked by trusted organizations for its validity;
after reaching a certain number of complaints or the expiration of a set period, public organizations send collective complaints to Google;
Google reviews complaints and decides to remedy the violation in accordance with its rules and procedures, and then communicates the results.
At the same time, the complaint must be submitted through the usual Google form.
The website of the Center for Democracy and the Rule of Lawass ures that relevant reports with the results will be published on the websites of the Ministry of Digital and the listed public organizations.
Earlier we wrote about the fact that the head of the Center for countering disinformation, Andriy Kovalenko, complained that Google maps shows locations with Ukrainian military systems on updated images.
In turn, the Google company removed from the maps satellite images that showed the locations of Ukrainian military systems. The techno giant also assured that this would not happen again.
