Over 2,000 data packets: Ukrainian hackers forced the occupiers to surrender their Starlink positions themselves
The Russians are trying to find “drops” among Ukrainians who are willing to activate enemy starlinks for money. The hacktivist team “256 CyberShturmova Division” together with InformNapalm and MILITANT decided to take advantage of this. During the week of operation of the fake bots, they managed to obtain thousands of data packages, enemy positions, and even “donations from Russian soldiers.”

“Understanding how desperately this mold will seek opportunities to restore the operation of Elon Musk’s saucer and what threats this poses, we, together with InformNapalm and MILITANT, decided to “help” them,” the hacktivists “256 CyberSturm Division” wrote in their Telegram channel.
For this purpose, a network of channels and bots was created, offering activation services for a modest fee.

Within a week of the operation, we were able to obtain:
2420 data packets on enemy starlinks and precise enemy positions;
31 appeals from traitors wanting to become "drops" for activation;
$5,870 donated by Russian soldiers who were desperately looking for a solution to their communication problem.

All collected data on enemy terminals has already been transferred to Serhiy Sternenko, which can be used to further block enemy starlinks and defeat personnel near them. In parallel, law enforcement agencies are already processing lists of identified traitors. And the received donations will go to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“This operation demonstrated a fundamental thing: the Ukrainian cyber community and volunteer intelligence networks do not act passively. We anticipate, adapt, and act several steps ahead. For the Russian military, the uncertainty of finding workarounds for Starlink is now part of an equation in which the risk of falling into honeypots is too great. For Ukraine, coordination between hackers, OSINT analysts, and defense structures remains a force multiplier,” noted the InformNapalm International Intelligence Community.
Ukrainian hackers have claimed responsibility for the high-profile hack of a Russian satellite provider that served the FSB and the enemy army. Previously, everyone believed that it was the Wagner Group that did it.
