Ukrainian military begins using AI turret to intercept enemy UAVs

The first to use the turret in combat conditions were soldiers of the K-2 brigade, the Ministry of Defense reports .

Today, the solution is already being used in more than 10 units in key areas of the front.

The AI ​​drone interceptor turret is a development by Brave1. The system autonomously detects, tracks, and calculates the trajectory of an enemy UAV. The operator only has to confirm the hit with a single button press.

The military emphasized that the technology makes it possible to destroy even fiber-optic drones that are not vulnerable to electronic warfare.

The AI ​​turret is part of the "small" air defense direction currently being developed by the Ministry of Defense.

"The next step is to scale the solution and strengthen the "small" air defense. This is another element of the system that we are building for maximum detection and interception of enemy air targets," the ministry added.
