Ukrainian engineering and manufacturing company Ukrainian Unmanned Technologies (UUT) and French mobile platform manufacturer Haulotte have signed an industrial partnership agreement. This is the first industrial partnership between Ukraine and France in the field of robotic ground platforms.
The French partner was represented by the Galion Group consulting group. The official signing took place on June 17, 2026 at the Eurosatory international defense exhibition in Paris.
As part of the partnership, Haulotte will provide its industrial, logistics and service capabilities to support the scaling of production and life cycle management of robotic platforms developed by UUT. The cooperation will be carried out in accordance with the Build with Ukraine programs and the requirements of the legislation of both countries.
The key product within this partnership is the Ukrainian ground robot RAVLYK (UMP2). It is a fully electric wheeled platform designed to perform logistical tasks in dangerous areas. The robot can transport ammunition, evacuate the wounded and conduct reconnaissance. The reconfiguration time for different tasks is up to 30 minutes. The platform is already in mass production and has been tested in real combat conditions.
«This partnership is a clear example of how a Ukrainian engineering school, tested in real combat conditions, becomes the basis for industrial cooperation of the highest level. RAVLYK is a technology that has proven itself well on the front, and it is such solutions that will determine what the battlefield of the coming decade will look like,» said Artem Myrhorodsky, Director of the DefTech direction of MergeWave Capital, which represented the Ukrainian side in this process.
MergeWave Capital co-founder Pavlo Karapinka added that this deal opens up new opportunities for the domestic defense-industrial complex. According to him, the case shows that Ukrainian DefTech companies are able to integrate into European industrial chains directly, without lengthy bureaucratic procedures. This creates a precedent and paves the way for other Ukrainian developers to enter the French market.
