From scanning vacancies to pressing the "Send" button: a Ukrainian IT specialist created an AI agent that looks for a job instead of a person
Stanislav Marynovych, Product/Project Manager and founder of the startup Just Solution, decided to automate the job search with the help of AI. He developed a skill for Claude Code that can perform the entire process instead of a human. As the author notes: “All you need to do is go through the onboarding process, launch the skill, leave your laptop open, and go get a coffee.”
"I've been reading a lot of posts about job searching lately. People can't find a job for half a year, a year. They respond to 200-300 vacancies manually. They keep tables in Google Sheets. They write every cover letter by hand. And it takes up a whole working day, every week," Stanislav Marynovych wrote on LinkedIn.
The AI agent takes over the entire search cycle:
Onboarding. An AI agent gets to know your professional profile: asks for a link to LinkedIn, a resume, and details of real-world experience. After analyzing it, it gives a qualification score. The candidate defines search parameters: desired positions, industries, salary level, and cover letter style.
Scanning. The agent simultaneously monitors key platforms (Djinni, Work.ua, Robota.ua). The search is not limited to the direct title of the position, but also recognizes related roles. For example, for a Product Manager, the agent will automatically select Product Owner or Product Marketing Manager vacancies.
Scoring: The agent analyzes each match against six key criteria: role fit, skills, experience, industry, job format, and salary. The match percentage ranges from 0 to 100.
Cover letters. The agent generates text for each specific vacancy: it focuses on the employer's requirements and emphasizes the candidate's relevant experience, automatically selecting the necessary information from the profile.
Automated response. With Playwright, the skill opens a browser on its own, logs in to the platform, and navigates to the job. It automatically fills out the form, attaches a resume, and inserts a generated letter. Even if the job includes an additional questionnaire with questions, AI analyzes them and provides answers based on your experience. The process is completely autonomous — right up until you click the “Send” button.
Tracking. The agent automatically keeps reports in an Excel spreadsheet. All key data is recorded there: company name, link to the vacancy, match percentage, text of the sent email, and current response status.
According to the creator of the AI agent, there will be no duplicates: it clearly tracks the history of reviews. The human role in the process is minimal: go through the onboarding, launch the tool and go back to your business. Claude Code will complete the entire search process on its own.
“I hope this will save someone dozens of hours and allow them to focus on preparing for interviews, rather than on the routine of feedback,” added Stanislav Marynovych.
Marinovich has already received a lot of feedback from LinkedIn users, in particular regarding improving the AI agent, so the author's immediate plans include fixing bugs.
Instead of an Excel spreadsheet: an IT professional created a CRM for job search. How the service will help IT specialists structure the entire process in one place
Як нейромережі бачать вільну та незалежну Україну? Тест dev.ua
