Ukrainian startup Ability AI has changed its development vector and wants to compete in the niche of AI agent orchestration. Will it succeed?

Ukrainian startup Ability AI, which previously positioned itself as an «AI marketer» to help small and medium-sized businesses, is refocusing on the niche of orchestrating AI agents.

According to Forbes, the startup currently offers clients the Trinity AI agent orchestration platform — AI software that divides a task into smaller units and delegates their execution to other AI agents.

According to co-founder and CEO Yevgeny Vyborov, the startup’s model was changed last year, and now it already has ten corporate clients, and these are companies with an annual turnover of $500 million or more.

Among the clients are the British EV Energy and the American CEO Coaching International, and the range of contracts in the Ukrainian startup is within $50,000-250,000 per year.

The startup offers businesses annual contracts with support and individual solutions tailored to the needs of each client.

«The company is now at break-even,» notes Vyborov.

Ability AI’s Trinity orchestration platform is free for personal use, but for business use, a license is required.

«At first, we described the product to investors as: OpenClaw for the corporate segment,» says Vyborov.

Ability AI has three agents involved in development. The first one writes code, the second one is DevOps, and the third one is responsible for documentation. «The agents perform different roles, but they work with a single database and can interact with each other,» explains the startup’s founder.

Comparing Ability AI’s Trinity and OpenClaw, Vyborov says that their startup is betting on security.

«OpenClaw gives agents too much access to data and the computer,» he says.

At the same time, Trinity is installed on the client’s private cloud, has more restrictions and instructions for agents: every step of the agent is monitored and recorded.

We previously wrote about an interesting case with AI agents: an OpenClaw agent attacked a developer who rejected its code.
