Ukrainian startups made it to TIME magazine's World's Top EdTech Companies 2026 ranking
TIME magazine and analytics company Statista have released the World's Top EdTech Companies 2026, a global ranking of companies developing educational technologies, products and services. This year, the main list includes 500 companies, including Ukrainian SpeechYard and Klasna Ocinka. In addition, Ukrainian startup Brighterly topped the World's EdTech Rising Stars 2026 sub-rating.
TIME magazine and analytics company Statista have released the World's Top EdTech Companies 2026, a global ranking of companies developing educational technologies, products and services. This year, the main list includes 500 companies, including Ukrainian SpeechYard and Klasna Ocinka. In addition, Ukrainian startup Brighterly topped the World's EdTech Rising Stars 2026 sub-rating.
This is the third year in a row that TIME magazine and analytics company Statista have published a global ranking, doubling the number of participants this year from 250 to 500 companies.
Duolingo topped the World's Top EdTech Companies 2026 ranking. Ukrainian startups SpeechYard and Klasna Ocinka ranked 255th and 256th, respectively, with a score of 76.90.
SpeechYard is an Odessa startup founded in 2013. It develops an online platform for learning English using videos, interactive subtitles, and vocabulary training. On the site, you can watch movies and TV series, train your listening skills, and learn new words in context.
Klasna Ocinka (Class Rating) is a Ukrainian educational portal that operates as a distance learning platform, school website builder, and e-magazine. The startup was founded in 2010 by IT specialist and entrepreneur Vitaly Zaitsev.
In addition, Ukrainian startup Brighterly , part of the SKELAR investment portfolio, took first place in the World's EdTech Rising Stars 2026 sub-rating, which highlights companies under 10 years old with the highest revenue growth rates over the past three years.
Brighterly, founded in 2021, operates in the US market. Its product is an online educational platform that combines one-on-one tutoring with intelligent AI solutions for personalized learning.
